Eckmann offers in-house die design, development, and die manufacturing to ensure competitive lead times and pricing for our customers. Eckmann Custom Products firmly remains at the forefront of die design coupled with an active development program covering new applications and materials.

Hard Tooling

Once the design is complete, it is passed to our tool room, where our journey tool & die makers build the dies. Dies are proven and performed in our press room, under the supervision of manufacturing management. Upon completion of a proven die, our quality assurance department conducts a first article inspection. The results are documented in the form of an I.S.I.R. (Initial Sample Inspection Report) submitted to the customer. Once approval is received, the dies are released for production.

Maintenance

Eckmann offers complete in-house maintenance in our Tool Room. Highly trained professionals produce a wide assortment of quality tooling for stampings and fabrication. We can help minimize costs by collaborating with the customer during the design phase. Eckmann specializes in deep-drawn stampings, including complex deep drawing of stainless steel.
